Al Henning

Al has a long family history with the Ludington area: his great-grandparents emigrated here in the 1880s. Al was born and raised in the Chicago area, but spent most of his childhood summers in Ludington. Al holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Dartmouth College and Stanford University. A physicist and electrical engineer by trade, he combines these skills with his lifelong passion for the Ludington Dunes, to find pathways so that all stakeholders in the natural resources represented by these Dunes can succeed, now and for the future.

Linda Daul

Ludington's world class dunes and sand can only be saved with an engaged citizenry and legislative body.  I have come to understand our Great Lakes Dune ecosystems as the MOST misunderstood, fragile and hauntingly beautiful PURE MICHIGAN tourist attraction.  Protecting this critical dune resource from mining operations, and invasive species is essential to sustaining Michigan's western shoreline.  These Dunes can only be saved and preserved through a grassroots effort.
